Bello making most of opportunity with Cleveland Browns

B.J. Bello's path to the NFL was a remarkable one. The Lincoln Way West grad transferred from Illinois to Illinois State with just one year of eligibility left. He made the most of it, establishing himself as a legitimate NFL prospect after a monster senior season with the Redbirds. Bello signed with the Cleveland Browns as an undrafted free agent.

CHAMPAIGN -- Freshman guard Mark Smith posted 21 points and redshirt sophomore Kipper Nichols added 16 points off the bench as Illinois outlasted visiting DePaul 82-73 on Friday night in the Gavitt Tipoff Games. The two programs' first meeting in 60 years was a sloppy one -- they committed 35 turnovers combined and racked up 59 fouls. Millikin adds women's triathlon team to athletic department

DECATUR -- Millikin will add a women's triathlon program to its list of varsity sports thanks to a $70,000 grant from the USA Triathlon Foundation, the school announced.
